A Vision for the Future

As your representative, I am committed to disciplined governance, collaborative leadership, and a relentless focus on our common goal: providing a world-class education for the nearly 48,000 students of Horry County.

I am a staunch supporter of our goal for at least 95% of HCS students to read at or above their grade level by 2030. Literacy is the foundation of all learning—if a child cannot read, nothing else works.

A third grader today will graduate into a world shaped by AI and automation. We aren't just preparing students for the world we’ve known; we are preparing them for the world they will live and work in.

Horry County is growing, and our schools must grow stronger with it. We cannot settle for average. We need experienced, conservative leadership to ensure our district remains a leader in innovation and efficiency.

No Tax Increases
Navigated rising costs and rapid growth with no tax increase for our taxpayers.

Budget Transparency
Driving a zero-based budgeting approach where every dollar is justified and every expense is accountable to you.

Stable Leadership
Successfully managed a superintendent transition to ensure uninterrupted progress for our schools.

Infrastructure Investment
Moving forward with the 2026 groundbreaking of the replacement St. James Elementary School to meet the needs of our growing community.
